OVRP Dirt Oval Race Report

20^th Points Race – October 20^th, 2007

Attendance for the last points race of the season included 84 karts and 13 slingshots for a total of 97 entries - 19 classes. The track appeared to have been resurfaced and only a few classes went out for their first round of practice before the decision was made to water it down due to extreme dust conditions. The show was slightly delayed, but as always, John Diotte Sr. did a good job in getting the track set for a great night of racing. Everyone was able to complete two rounds of practice, 2 shortened heat races and a 15 lap feature. There was some great side-by-side racing in a few of the classes and many fast lap times. 

Final Point Standings have been posted on the Dirt Oval’s site Final Points. Congratulations to all this year’s first time feature winners and to all drivers for a great season!

If there are more then 20 Karts in any Particular Class there will be a 3 lap time trial and the class will be split up by time trials.

Prize Money Determined By Number of Entries in the Class - Each Main Will Get a Percentage of the Pot Depending on how many karts there are.

½ of the Entry Fee goes towards the Prize Money

For Example, if there are two mains, the A Main will get 75% and the

B Main will get 25%
