FROM NEWARK AIRPORT: Route 95 (NJ Turnpike) North approximately 22 miles
to route 80-Take 80 West approximately 6 miles to route 17- Take 17 North
approximately 30 miles to N.Y. Thruway (Route 87) -Take 87 North approximately
16 miles to Exit 16 (Harriman) - Take Route 17 (left lane after toll booth) West
approximately 25 miles to Exit 113 (Wurtsboro) - Take Route 209 South
approximately 8.5 miles to Cuddebackville-Pass firehouse on left side and then
make a very sharp right onto Oakland Valley Road- Track is approximately 1.5
miles up on the road on left side.
FROM KENNEDY AIRPORT: Van Wyck Expressway (Route 678) North approximately
6 miles to Grand Central Parkway-Take Grand Central Parkway North approximately
10 miles to Deegan Expressway North approximately 5 miles to Cross Bronx
Expressway (Route 95)-Take 95 West-over the George Washington Bridge
(approximately 8 miles) into New Jersey-Take 80 West approximately 8 miles to
route 17 (then use Newark Airport directions).
FROM LaGUARDIA AIRPORT: Grand Central Parkway North approximately 5 miles
to Deegan Expressway (Route 87). (Then use Kennedy Airport and Newark Airport
directions).
FROM THE SOUTH: Take Route 95 North to Route 80 West. (Then use Newark
Airport directions).
FROM THE WEST: Take Route 80 east to Route 17 North. (Then use Newark
Airport directions).
FROM WESTERN NEW YORK AND ADJACENT CANADA: New York Thruway (Route 90)
East to Albany-Take Route 87(Thruway) South approximately 95 miles to Exit 17
(Newburgh)-Take 84 West approximately 20 miles to Route 17. Take 17 to exit 113
(Wurtsboro) approximately 12 miles. (Then use Newark Airport directions).
FROM NORTHERN NEW ENGLAND AND ADJACENT CANADA: Take Northway (Route 87)
South to Albany-Take Thruway (Route 87) South to Exit 17
(Newburgh)-approximately 95 miles. (Then use western N.Y. and Newark Airport
directions).
FROM SOUTHERN NEW ENGLAND: Take Route 84 West to Route 17. Take 17 West
approximately 12 miles to Exit 113 (Wurtsboro). (Then use Newark Airport
directions).
FROM SCRANTON PA AREA: Take 84 West to Matamoras PA Exit and go North 209
thru Port Jervis approximately 10 miles from exit to Oakland Valley Road, turn
left to 1.5 miles track on left.
Disclaimer:
The above directions may not always be the shortest, however, we have found
these to be the most direct and easily explained and followed.
It has been our experience that many map programs tend to take you the shortest
route, which is not always the easiest to follow through the back roads of NY
State.
Directions from: WESTPORT CT
1. North SR 33 (Wilton Road)
2. North US 7 (SR33 Danbury Road) (approximate 20 miles)
3. Interstate 84 West (approximate 76 miles)
4. SR 17 North West (towards Middletown the 1st exit to 17) (approximate 13
miles)
5. Exit 113 - US 209/Wurtsboro- South Rt 209 (8.6 miles)
(Look for green sign to CUDDEBACKVILLE and or Oakland Valley Campgrounds) you
will turn right immediately after the signs-Gordon Road. This access road will
dead-end on Oakland Valley Road.
6. Right on to Oakland Valley Road
Oakland Valley Race Park is approximately 1 mile on left.
Directions from: NYC
1. George Washington Bridge
2. Palisades Parkway North (approximate 20 miles)
3. West Interstate 87 (I 287) (approximate 24 miles)
4. North West SR 17 (US 6) (approximate 38 miles)
5. Exit 113 - US 209/Wurtsboro- South Rt 209 (8.6 miles)

6. Right on to Oakland Valley Road

Exit #309 (Old Exit 52) 209/447 Marshalls Creek
(This exit will take you through all the little towns, past the flea market,
Fernwood Resort area, etc. Stay on 209 North)
OR
Exit #310 (Old Exit 53) 611/Delaware Water Gap /Milford/Shawnee
(This route may cut out traffic during the weekends when the flea market is
open)
Make right on to Exit 53 then make first LEFT off exit ramp. The directional
sign is towards Park’n Ride.
Stop at the stop sign and continue under the bridge and over the railroad
tracks. Continue on this road. It will be windy and hilly. This takes you
through Shawnee Inn complex. You will see occasional signs/buildings and
sometimes people walking. Keep a look out for people and animals!
RIGHT at the light. Fernwood Resort will be on your left after you turn right.
The mini ski slope/pond will be on your immediate right. Parking on both sides
of the road around this resort.
You are now back on 209 North
209 NORTH Stay on this through the park. You will eventually see the Ranger
Booth on the right, continue past (only commercial vehicles have to stop for
clearance whenever a guard is in the booth).
You will see occasional signs including ones for: Bushkill Access, Eshback Boat
Launch, Dingman Falls
After sign for Dingman Falls Campground you will come upon a red light and the
junction for 739. Go straight; continue on 209 North (towards Milford, Antique
Store on the right)
Ranger station on the left upon exiting the park.
Continue on 209 North
OR
206 South (make a right over the bridge, there is No Toll this direction. This
bridge goes over the Delaware River).
Left at fork in road immediately after crossing bridge this will put you on 521.
521 North River Road (This is yet another windy, hilly road. Continue on…)
You will eventually come upon a red light: it usually IS red, relax, it is a
long wait. When it does turn green continue through. Under the train bridge Stop
& “Honk Your Horn”. Continue on 521 until you come to a stop (it is a T
intersection you can only turn left/right), this is 209 again, The New Hope
Horse Farm is on your left, make a right on to 209 North.
209 NORTH (towards Huguenot)
You will see signs for Deerpark, and eventually Cuddebackville. This road will
take you over a green bridge (the Never-Sink River), museum and school will then
be on your left. Keep on going.
Pass O’Dells/Citgo Station on the left and the blinking light at the junction of
211 & 209. Oakland Valley Road will be on your left.
OAKLAND VALLEY ROAD
Make a left up the hill (you will see a sign for Oakland Valley Race Park on the
corner).
OVRP mile up on left, you will see a chain-linked fence with white and black
through it before seeing the house and driveway. The house sits on the road,
driveway immediately after, pull in and drive to the right down the dirt road to
the Dirt Oval.
