The Dirt Oval is a 1/5 mile oval track and has been operated by John Diotte, along with his wife, JoAnn, his daughter, Denise, and her husband, Chris since 2001. John has over 10 years of experience in the racing business and is one of the most knowledgeable people when it comes to dirt. He was the 2007 promoter of the year announced by Tobias Slingshots. Go-Kart racing can be a family oriented sport, you see many fathers and their sons or daughters, as well as brothers or sisters racing together, as well as friends. It is a sport that most people like to do together. Most people get into racing because a family member or a friend currently races, which is how we got involved in the sport back in 1990. The Dirt Oval now has a kart shop located directly on the facilities called JK Performance Kart Shop which is owned and operated by John Diotte Jr. and his wife, Kasey.
